Dark souls uchigatana

Even though the Uchigatana requires 14 strength and 14 dexterity it's best variant Normal+15 (In my opinion) has an A in dexterity with nothing in strength. Even looking at the other variants it's easy to conclude that this is primarily a dexterity weapon.

Try to get at least 25 vigor first, then dex and stamina. Dex softcap is 40, str is not needed at all, dont forget about sharp infusion. Uchigatana is not the best katana, so by the middle of the game you can replace it with something better, I recommend a washing pole. I'd say the uchigatana is better, because of the moveset. Both of the iato's swings are broad sweeps, whereas the uchi's power attack is more overhand, which makes it more useful in tight hallways.
