Dayz fence to gate

Bases on vanilla Dayz servers have never really been a viable goal. The problem is because of two conflicting issues in the game: 1. The concept that any player should always have the ability to break into any base, unlike other games such as rust. This idea has always been what people have envisioned for Dayz for many years, six years ago(!)

If it's yours just enter the combination and it'll fall to your feet. If it's someone else's then you'll have to cut it off with a hacksaw or guess the combination. They can't be stolen, but they can be completely looted, so if you put stuff in it, well, let's just say I've gotten some nice items out of them :). So if you take a sledgehammer or hatchet to a gate you can break down the wooden gates outer wall. once the outer wall is destroyed leaving the frames on the gate you cant break the gates wooden frames down top or bottom. if you remove the wire and make it to a fence not a gate you can break it down from the outside.

I see just two options. First is make it harder to break a gate or a fence. Like it would take 5 axes to break it through. Or second option is make it unbreakable and set a time scale for disappearing. For example if you won't log in in 14 days, your base disappear.Update: just read the twitter of Dayz in regards to the hotfix. alot of other people are confirming that you can't build fences inside structures anymore, no comment on wether this was intetional or not. Many servers have gate only raiding and this would also help with "splash" damaged caused by certain explosives. As each fence/gate is already logged i cant imagine it would be too difficult a task to input such an option. Could easily be added as an option in cfggameplay much like the basedamage on/off already is
