How to make playlists

There's no ideal length. I personally create a Playlist for each month of the year, so that I have the latest tunes I want to listen to without having to make endless research. Then I classify the songs of my monthly playlists under broader playlists by genres that I can listen to anytime. But the best way to classify music for me is by moods.
