Why aren’t my starters in the game? Half my starters never actually take the field. Thought it might be injury’s or fatigue. Nope, turns out they’re not even in the play book. I have to manually make substitutions every single game to get my starters on the field.

So its an glitch yeah but it has to do w progressive fatigue. There are 2 ways around it, either bench starters and do depth chart before games, or do subs during the game. Since the update I got through a whole season & it seemed in the conference championship/super bowl the AI teams had some pretty fatigued players, but it wasn’t as bad as it used to be at all. Starters thankfully played most of the game for them.
