I would say the UI is the crux of any justification to buy more pedals. It makes me happy to have knobs to twiddle and wires to plug and that is enough. BTW, I really dig mine for sure.This changes your line level output to and instrument level which most pedals are designed for use. The microcosm actually has an option to switch to line level though so in this case it is not needed.
