We accept transfer students with 30 or more hours completed, the difference is just that the 30-59 hour transfers have a 3.30 GPA consideration level while the 60 or more hours has a different GPA. We use completed hours and GPA for completed work in this review. Nov 16, 2020 · Our deadline for scores is a request deadline, not an in office deadline, so requesting them by January 1 is fine. In saying this though, UGA does not use AP scores in our admissions review process. Mr. Graves, I was deferred and I want to make sure that I am following the correct process to update my application. In calculating your GPA, we use all academic grades you have earned in transferable courses (including Ds, Fs, and WFs) from every college you have attended. If a course is repeated, we will use both grades. As well, we only review transfer work with specific course titles, course numbers and credit hours. At this time first year applications are only accepted during the fall and spring terms. We encourage all prospective first year students to check back and apply at that time. First-year applicants interested in entering UGA during the Summer term should apply for Fall and can request to change to the Summer term after receiving admission. Withdrawals that occur before the application semester will not be reported in a student’s application; however, such withdrawals may affect when a student is eligible to apply to a Terry major.
